Glass bottle – dropper bottle made of black glossy glass represents a professional packaging suitable for filling sensitive liquid formulations as well as concentrated solutions, where protection of the contents and a representative appearance are important. High-quality glass with an opaque dark surface helps to limit the penetration of light to the fill, which supports the stability of suitable formulations during storage and use.
This type of bottle is popular in the production of cosmetics and specialized products, where emphasis is placed on precise dosing, hygiene during handling and the possibility of combining it with various types of closures, droppers or sprayers. Thanks to its practical shape, the bottle fits well in the hand, is easy to fill and allows precise labelling by means of stickers.
The separate glass bottles are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters in the product details. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test – verifying sealing, smoothness of dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation during short-term and long-term storage.

The bottle can be reused if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling it is important to thoroughly clean the packaging, remove residues of the original product and then disinfect it with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol or denatured plant ethanol. Only after the inside and the thread are completely dry do we recommend filling the bottle again, in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination and the impact on the stability of the new formulation.
Before the first filling we recommend mechanically cleaning the bottle from dust and any residues of the manufacturing process, rinsing it with a suitable cleaning solution and letting it drain. It is then appropriate to disinfect the inner space and the neck with an alcohol-based preparation (e.g. IPA 99 % or 96 % ethanol), shake it, let it evaporate and only then proceed to filling. This reduces the risk of contamination of the final product.
The bottle is suitable for concentrated drop solutions, oil blends, serums, special care preparations and formulations for which protection of the contents from light and precise dosing are important. It is often used for smaller product volumes, prototypes and limited series, where professional presentation and a reliable packaging material are important.
If you decide not to reuse the bottle, we recommend first emptying it and, as far as possible, removing any remaining contents. Then proceed according to the recycling recommendations given in the parameter table for the specific product on the website. Glass packaging is normally sorted into the container intended for glass, and any closure made of another material should be separated and sorted according to its material designation. In this way you support effective recycling and reduce the amount of waste.
