Yes, the glass medicine bottle is suitable for packaging formulas containing vegetable oils, extracts or aromatic blends, because glass is a stable material and the black opaque design helps limit the effect of light on the contents. For very specific or highly concentrated formulations, we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test and monitoring the behaviour of the product in the packaging during use.

Can I use this bottle repeatedly?

The bottle can be used repeatedly provided hygienic principles are observed. Before each new filling, it is necessary to clean and disinfect the packaging thoroughly in order to minimize the risk of microbial contamination or affecting the new formulation by residues of the original product. For disinfection we recommend using a suitable alcohol-based agent, for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or 96% denatured plant ethanol. After cleaning, allow the packaging to dry completely and only then fill it again.

How should I properly clean the glass medicine bottle before further use?

First remove the residues of the original contents and rinse the bottle with warm water and a suitable cleaning agent. Then we recommend rinsing the packaging thoroughly with clean water so that no detergent residues remain in it. After mechanical cleaning, it is appropriate to disinfect the bottle using alcohol, for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or 96% denatured plant ethanol, and let it air dry at room temperature. Only after it is completely dry is the packaging ready for new filling.

How should I recycle the glass bottle if I no longer want to use it?

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the material type indicated in the parameters of the specific product on the website. In most cases, the glass part of the bottle can, after being emptied and basically rinsed, be placed in the appropriate glass recycling container. Any plastic or metal components (closure, insert, dropper) should be separated and recycled according to the recommendations for the given material in accordance with local waste sorting rules. In this way you reduce the amount of waste and support responsible handling of packaging materials.
