This bottle with spray pump is designed as a practical set of container and dosing component, suitable in particular for fine spraying of liquid preparations. The combinations of containers and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).

If you decide not to recycle the packaging repeatedly after use, we recommend its proper sorting according to the material indicated in the parameter table for the product. The glass bottle can usually be placed in the glass container after removing any product residues; the plastic spray pump and any additional plastic parts should be sorted into the appropriate plastic container according to local rules. Adhering to these principles contributes to efficient recycling and to reducing the amount of waste.
Yes, you can use the bottle and the spray pump repeatedly, provided that you follow hygienic practices. Before each new filling, the container must be thoroughly rinsed, cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable product, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For this purpose, you can use IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. After complete drying, the packaging is ready for the next safe use.
The bottle with spray pump is ideal for all formulas that are applied in the form of a mist or fine spray – for example facial and body sprays, toners, hair tonics, air fresheners, textile sprays or disinfectant solutions. We always recommend testing the behaviour of the specific formulation in combination with the packaging, especially in the case of a higher proportion of oils or ingredients that affect viscosity and flow through the spray mechanism.
After emptying the bottle, first remove any residues of the original product and wash the inside with warm water and a mild cleaning agent. Then rinse thoroughly with clean water so that no detergent residues remain in the container. The packaging then needs to be disinfected – we recommend rinsing the inside of the container with a small amount of alcohol, for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. It is also advisable to spray the disinfectant solution through the spray pump. Before refilling, allow all parts to dry completely.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend sorting it responsibly according to the materials indicated in the product parameters. The glass part can, after removing product residues, be placed in the glass recycling stream in accordance with local rules. The plastic spray pump, any closure parts and inserts should be separated from the glass and disposed of in the appropriate plastics container, provided the local collection system accepts such packaging. Before recycling, we recommend at least roughly rinsing the container in order to minimise product residues in the sorted waste.
