The glass bottle with glossy black surface and black aluminium cap represents an elegant and professional packaging suitable for various cosmetic and laboratory formulations. High-quality glass provides a stable environment for the contents and, together with the opaque, dark design, helps protect sensitive components from the effects of light during storage and use. In combination with a precise screw closure, it forms a practical, safe and reusable packaging for liquid and semi-solid products.
This packaging is supplied as a complete combination of glass bottle and cap, making it ready for direct filling and use without the need to select a closure separately. The packaging and closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).

Yes, the glass bottle with opaque black surface is suitable for various types of active serums and oil-based concentrates that are sensitive to light. Stable glass helps to minimise interaction between the packaging and the formulation, and the dark design reduces light penetration to the contents. However, for highly reactive or specific ingredients we always recommend performing your own stability test under real conditions of use.
The bottle can be reused if basic hygiene principles are observed and the packaging is properly maintained. Before each new filling, the bottle and cap must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, ideally using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, for example with the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. This reduces the risk of microbial contamination, transfer of odours or residues of previous formulations into the new product.
Before filling, we recommend mechanically cleaning the bottle (removing residues of the previous contents and impurities), then rinsing it with suitable clean water and allowing it to dry thoroughly. After drying, it is advisable to disinfect the inner surfaces and outer contact areas with alcohol, for example using IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. The cap and the bottle thread must also be checked for mechanical wear to ensure reliable sealing for further use.
If you decide not to reuse the bottle, it is advisable to recycle it in accordance with the rules stated in the product parameters. The glass body of the bottle is generally placed in separated glass collection, while the aluminium cap belongs in metal packaging collection, provided that the local waste-sorting system offers such an option. Before handing it over for separated collection, we recommend emptying the packaging, removing any remaining contents and labels so that the recycling process is as efficient as possible.
