The glass bottle with a black glossy surface and ribbed safety cap represents a professional packaging solution suitable for filling various liquid preparations. High-quality glass provides a stable and safe environment for cosmetic formulations, serums, oils as well as technical solutions. The opaque dark glass also contributes to the protection of sensitive components from light, which helps reduce the risk of product deterioration during storage and use.
The packaging is designed to ensure reliable closure by means of a practical cap with safety feature, which protects the contents from unintentional opening. Thanks to the combination of high-quality glass and a functional closure, this is a universal bottle suitable for home and professional use, for smaller brands as well as testing laboratories.
The glass bottle itself is compatible with various types of closures and dispensing options according to the parameters selected in the Handymade.sk offering. Depending on the specific use, you can combine it, for example, with screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators.
Combinations of containers and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test – especially in terms of sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, alcohol content, oil or water base).
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend sorting it correctly according to the material specified in the product parameter table. The glass parts of the packaging usually belong in the glass container, while the plastic and combined elements of the closure should be sorted according to local rules for plastic collection and mixed waste. Always adapt the recycling instructions to the recommendations of your local collection system.
Yes, the packaging can be reused if hygiene principles are observed. Before each refilling, the bottle and the cap must be thoroughly cleaned and subsequently disinfected with a suitable alcoholic solution, for example with the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured vegetable. For disinfection you can use the products IPA 99 isopropyl alkohol 1 l and Etanol 96 denaturovaný rastlinný 1 l. Only after the inner surfaces are completely dry is the bottle ready for refilling.
Before first use, we recommend rinsing the bottle with a suitable cleaning agent, rinsing thoroughly with clean water and allowing it to dry completely. It is then advisable to disinfect the inner surface and the cap with an alcoholic solution (for example IPA or ethanol intended for this purpose) and, after the alcohol has evaporated, to fill the bottle. This reduces the risk of microbial contamination of the final product and prolongs its stability.
The bottle is ideal for smaller volumes of cosmetic and technical liquids such as facial and body oils, serums, concentrates, hair treatments, aromatherapeutic blends, perfume bases or test samples of new formulations. Dark glass is particularly advantageous for products containing natural extracts, antioxidants and oils that are prone to degradation by light.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the material specified in the product parameters. The glass body of the bottle is usually sorted into the glass container after removing any remaining contents. The cap and any additional plastic components should be separated and sorted according to local rules for plastic or mixed waste. Before handing it over for separate collection, it is advisable to rinse the packaging so that no larger product residues remain inside.
