The glass bottle with spray pump represents a professional packaging solution suitable for filling various liquid cosmetic preparations and DIY formulations where fine and even misting is required. High-quality glass in combination with a functional mechanical spray pump ensures comfortable application and stability of the contents during storage and use.
Thanks to the material-resistant glass, this bottle with spray pump is suitable for water-based products as well as for formulas containing alcohols or hydrolats, where purity, hygiene and easy dosing are important. The combination of the glass container and the spray pump enables precise application of a smaller amount of product without unnecessary waste.
This type of packaging is ideal for small batches, test packs and final products, with a key advantage being its reusability when correct hygienic cleaning and disinfection procedures are followed.
This glass bottle is supplied with a spray pump, while the packaging itself is structurally adapted for use with several types of closures and dispensing components within the same series. They are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are stated in the attached packaging quality certificate and in the product parameters.
The glass bottle with spray pump is generally suitable for most water-based cosmetic preparations, hydrolats and formulations containing alcohol, as long as they comply with the recommendations given in the product parameters. Before placing on the market or using long-term, we always recommend performing your own stability and compatibility testing – especially with a higher proportion of alcohol or active substances, in order to verify the behaviour of the packaging and the spray pump with the specific formulation.
The packaging can be reused if basic hygiene principles are followed. Before each refilling, the bottle and the spray pump must be thoroughly cleaned, rinsed and then disinfected. For disinfection we recommend using a suitable alcoholic preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol at the appropriate concentration. In our range you can find, for example, the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol and Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. After disinfection, allow all parts to dry completely and only then refill the bottle to minimise the risk of microbial contamination and any impact on product stability.
We recommend verifying compatibility on a small trial batch. Fill the bottle with your formulation, monitor the behaviour of the spray pump (dose uniformity, fineness of the mist, possible clogging) and check the sealing of the closure during normal use and when handled during transport. During the test, also observe any changes in the appearance of the glass or the plastic parts of the spray pump in contact with the contents. Repeat the test at different storage temperatures to obtain a realistic picture of the long-term stability and functionality of the entire packaging.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the material specified in the product parameters. The glass part can usually, after removing any product residues and separating the plastic components of the spray pump, be placed in the appropriate container for sorted glass waste. The plastic parts of the spray pump belong in the container intended for plastic waste, unless local waste collection rules state otherwise. Before recycling we recommend rinsing the packaging as thoroughly as possible to minimise product residues and to facilitate processing in the recycling process.
To make it easier to choose a suitable bottle, pharmaceutical bottle, jar or other packaging, you can use the extended filter available at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging category. In the extended filter it is possible to combine several parameters at once – in particular the type and diameter of the neck, the size, colour and material of the packaging. In this way you can quickly display only those containers that match your formulation, the desired dosing method and the visual style of your brand.
