The glass bottle is a professional packaging solution suitable for a wide range of liquid and drop formulations where precise application and protection of sensitive contents are important. In combination with a dropper, it enables comfortable, hygienic and controlled dosing, making it ideal for concentrated preparations, serums, oils or tinctures. The dark, opaque glass also helps protect more sensitive components from light exposure and contributes to longer stability of the contents.
The packaging can be reused if basic hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, it is necessary to thoroughly clean the bottle, the dropper and all parts of the closure, and then disinfect them with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example IPA 99% – isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured, plant-based. After disinfection, allow the packaging to dry completely at room temperature and only then refill it with a fresh product.
If you decide not to use the packaging any further, we recommend recycling it in accordance with local waste sorting rules. The glass bottle is normally placed in the container intended for glass. Before disposal, remove any remaining contents and separate the dropper or closure, which are sorted according to their material composition (plastic, rubber or possibly metal). The specific recycling symbol and recommendation can be found in the parameter table next to the product, which will make it easier for you to correctly assign the individual parts to sorted collection streams.
Glass is generally a very stable and inert material, which makes it a suitable packaging for formulations containing essential oils or alcohol. However, for products with a higher proportion of volatile or more aggressive components, we recommend carrying out a trial filling and a short-term test in order to verify the compatibility of the specific formulation with the dropper and sealing used. This way, you will verify in advance that the dosing is smooth and the closure remains tightly sealed in the long term.
The accuracy of dosing depends on the viscosity of the product, the type of dropper and the way it is used by the end customer. We recommend first setting the recommended number of drops for one application and verifying this value through a practical test on several samples. For more viscous oils, it may be necessary to adjust the recommended amount or choose a different type of applicator. During production and filling, it is also important to ensure even tightening of the closure, so that the same position and function of the dropper is maintained for each unit.
