The glass bottle made of black glossy glass represents a professional packaging solution for cosmetic and laboratory formulations where aesthetics, protection and stability of the contents are important. The opaque dark glass helps protect sensitive components from light, thereby supporting their longer-term stability and minimizing the risk of degradation. In combination with a suitable closure, dropper or spray pump, this bottle is a practical solution for liquid products as well as concentrated blends that require precise dosing.
The standalone glass bottle is compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators) according to the parameters selected at purchase. The packaging and closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation) so that you can be sure of reliable use within your final product.

Yes, the glass bottle is suitable for storing preparations containing essential oils and other aromatic substances, since glass is a stable and inert material. With a high concentration of essential oils, we always recommend testing the specific formulation in the selected bottle + closure combination to verify sealing, dosing and the long-term stability of the product.
The bottle can be reused provided that hygiene principles are observed and proper cleaning is carried out between individual fillings. Before each new use, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, ideally using disinfectant alcohols such as IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured, plant-based. This minimises the risk of microbial contamination and of the new product being affected by residues of the previous formulation.
If you decide not to reuse the bottle, we recommend recycling it in accordance with local waste-sorting regulations. The glass part can usually be placed in the container designated for glass, while plastic or composite closures must be sorted according to the material type stated in the product parameter table. Before placing it in sorted waste, it is advisable to empty the packaging and remove any product residues to facilitate the recycling process.
Yes, the smaller glass bottle is an ideal choice for samples, test batches and laboratory development formulations. It allows precise dosing, easy labelling and at the same time sufficient comfort in handling during stability, fragrance or texture testing. When selecting a closure, you can choose a dropper, spray pump or classic screw cap depending on the type of testing or application you require.
