Product description

Illipe butter is obtained from the nuts of the large tree Shorea stenoptera, which originally comes from Borneo. It has a slight characteristic scent and a creamy white colour. Our Illipe butter has a creamy consistency, but it is pure butter, it has not been processed by hydrogenation.

Melting point: 34–38 °C.

For centuries it has been used to restore the vitality and elasticity of the skin. It contains oleic, palmitic, stearic and linoleic acid. It is excellent for soaps. Illipe butter helps protect the skin from UV-A and UV-B rays and is popular in products intended for sun protection and after-sun care. Its ability to soften the skin and long-lasting moisturising properties predestine it for dry, damaged and chapped skin.

You will appreciate it in creams, body lotions, soaps, body and hair balms (it is particularly suitable for dry and damaged hair) or in lip balms.

More detailed information on the quality of the product can be found in the certificate, which we update with each new batch.

All supplied raw materials are of cosmetic grade, unsuitable for internal use.

Allergens: does not contain any of the allergens that must be declared.
