Ucuuba butter is derived from the nut of the Virola sebifera tree, wild-harvested from the Amazon rainforests. The butter is cold-pressed without any further processing. It has a light brown color and a dry, hard consistency. It does not contain any allergens among the mandatory allergen listings.
Ucuuba butter possesses excellent anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties, making it ideal for treating acne, eczema, and dry, irritated skin. It is exceptionally rich in lauric, myristic, and palmitic acids, which help maintain healthy skin and hair. It is well-suited for dry, mature, sensitive, and problematic skin.
It is popularly used in soaps, lip balms, shampoos, and creams.
