The square-shaped glass bottle is a professional packaging solution suitable for filling various liquid and mildly viscous formulations. High-quality clear glass ensures the stability of the packaged product and easy visual inspection of the contents, which you will appreciate in both manual and semi-automatic production. The ribbed cap with safety ring supports secure closure and minimizes the risk of unintentional opening during storage or transport.
This type of packaging is suitable for cosmetic, pharmaceutical and laboratory use, where dosing accuracy, protection of the contents from contact with air and reliable sealing are important. Thanks to its compact shape, the bottle is easy to hold, can be stored efficiently on shelves and is ideal for samples, concentrated solutions and products with higher added value.
This glass bottle is a standalone pack that is compatible with various types of closures and dosing options according to the parameters selected directly on the product page. You can combine it, for example, with screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators, allowing you to adjust the dosing precisely to the character of your formulation.
The packaging and closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test – verify sealing, dosing uniformity and the behavior of the packaging in contact with the specific formula (viscosity, oil content, alcohol or active substances).

Glass is generally a very stable and inert material, so it is commonly used for products containing alcohol or essential oils as well. For intensely fragranced or highly concentrated formulations, however, we recommend always carrying out your own stability test – fill a smaller amount, leave it to stand for a certain time and observe any changes in appearance, scent or the behavior of the closure. This way you can verify that the selected combination of packaging, cap and formula is ideal for your product.
The bottle can be reused if hygiene principles are observed, especially if it remains within the same product type (for example a similar oil-based serum). Before each new filling, however, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected – we recommend using cleaning alcohol, such as isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection, you can use the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. Only after the packaging and closure are completely dry is it appropriate to proceed with a new filling.
First we recommend removing coarse residues of the original product from the bottle, for example by rinsing with warm water and a mild detergent suitable for laboratory or cosmetic equipment. Then rinse the packaging several times with clean water so that no detergent residues remain. After mechanical cleaning, it is important to disinfect the packaging – isopropyl alcohol or ethanol in a sufficient concentration is suitable for this, for example IPA 99% or Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. After disinfection, leave the packaging to dry at room temperature, upside down on a clean surface.
If you decide not to use the bottle any longer, it is appropriate to sort it into separated waste according to the material specified in the parameter table on the product page. The glass container, once emptied and basically cleaned, is usually placed in the glass container, while the closure may belong in a container intended for plastic or composite materials – always follow the pictogram and labelling given for the specific product on the site. Before disposal, it is advisable to remove any prominent product residues so as not to unnecessarily burden the recycling process.
