The individual aluminium bottles are compatible with various types of closures and dispensing systems according to the chosen packaging parameters. They can be combined with solutions such as screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators, allowing you to adapt the method of dispensing to the specific product.
The combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always performing your own compatibility test – check the sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, presence of alcohol or essential oils, foaming, etc.).

Yes, the packaging can be used repeatedly if handled correctly and if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, ideally using a suitable alcohol such as IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured (plant-based). Only after cleaning and drying is the bottle ready for further safe use.
First, we recommend rinsing the packaging with lukewarm water and a suitable cleaning agent that does not leave a strong odour or film. After mechanical cleaning, it is advisable to rinse the bottle once more with clean water and then disinfect it with alcohol, for example with the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured (plant-based). After disinfection, let the packaging dry thoroughly at room temperature.

Using the filter, you will quickly find the bottle, jar or pot that best matches your formulation and intended method of use.
The aluminium bottle is particularly suitable for liquid and slightly viscous cosmetic preparations such as toners, facial and hair waters, aromatic sprays, light oil blends or disinfectant solutions. It is also suitable for smaller test batches of your own recipes or for travel sizes, where you will appreciate its low weight, strength and compact shape.
If you decide not to use the packaging any longer, we recommend recycling it in accordance with local waste sorting rules and the recommendations given in the product parameters. Before disposal, it is advisable to empty the bottle as much as possible and, according to the indicated sorting instructions, place it in the appropriate container for metal waste. In this way, you reduce the amount of mixed waste and support the reuse of the material.
The choice of closure depends on the type of product and the expected way of use. For simple solutions and travel sizes, classic screw caps are suitable; for toners and aromatic sprays, spray pumps are practical; and for concentrated preparations or oil blends, droppers or fine applicators may be appropriate.
