This minimises the risk of microbial contamination and any impact on the stability of your formulation.

The spray pump is ideal for watery and low-viscosity solutions where a fine mist is desired – facial and body sprays, hydrolats, hair tonics, air fresheners or light cleaning solutions. For thicker emulsions or oil blends, it is necessary to test dosing smoothness in advance and, if needed, choose another type of pump or bottle.

After the contents have been used up, we recommend first rinsing the bottle with warm water and detergent, thoroughly rinsing with clean water and allowing it to dry. It is then appropriate to disinfect the internal surfaces with an alcohol solution, for example using the preparations IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol or etanol 96 % denaturovaný rastlinný. For the spray pump, it is advisable to spray the alcohol through the mechanism so that the inner capillary is also cleaned.

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the material types listed in the product parameters. The aluminium body of the bottle is usually sorted into metal waste, and the plastic part of the spray pump into the appropriate plastic collection. Before disposal, it is advisable to empty the packaging and minimise any product residues. Always adapt specific instructions to local waste-sorting rules and to the information in the parameter table for the given product.

Aluminium containers are generally suitable for formulations containing alcohol or essential oils, but we always recommend carrying out a small compatibility test. Monitor any changes in colour, odour or the sealing of the spray pump after a few days of storage. If the formulation does not cause any undesirable reactions of the packaging, its use is suitable from the point of view of material compatibility.
