Plastic medicine bottle with flip-top closure represents a practical packaging system for carefully dosed liquid and powdered preparations. The compact bottle made of durable plastic and the integrated closure enable convenient use, easy handling and clean dispensing without unnecessary contamination of the surroundings. It is particularly suitable where repeated, controlled and hygienic withdrawal of a smaller amount of product is required.
You will appreciate this type of packaging for cosmetic formulations, technical solutions as well as for mixtures intended for professional use, where reliable protection of the contents, minimisation of contact with air and convenient one-handed opening are important. The flip-top cap allows quick use without unscrewing the closure, which saves time and increases comfort in everyday use.
Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), so that you can be sure that the chosen container and closure fully meet the technical and aesthetic requirements of your product.

Yes, the packaging can be refilled repeatedly if used appropriately, but we recommend following strict hygiene rules. Before each new filling, the bottle and closure must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based disinfectant, for example with isopropyl alcohol or denatured plant-based ethanol. Only after complete drying is the packaging ready for further safe use.
Before both first and repeated use, we recommend mechanically rinsing the packaging with a suitable cleaning solution, then allowing it to drain and dry. It is then advisable to disinfect the inner surface and the closure using alcohol-based disinfectant products such as IPA 99 % or ethanol 96 % denatured. Before filling, make sure that no residues of cleaning agent or moisture remain inside, so that the stability and quality of your formulation are not affected.
If you decide not to use the packaging any further, we recommend that after emptying and basic rinsing you place it in sorted waste according to the type of material indicated in the parameter table of the specific product. The material of the bottle and closure is usually recycled in the container intended for plastic waste. Before disposal, remove any product residues and labels, where possible. Adhering to local waste sorting rules contributes to more efficient recycling and reduces environmental burden.
The packaging is designed to be universally usable for a wide range of common cosmetic and technical solutions. Nevertheless, we recommend performing your own compatibility test for each new formulation – checking the behaviour of the plastic and the closure in contact with the specific blend and monitoring any changes in colour, odour, softening of the material or leakage. Short-term and longer-term storage tests will help you confirm that the chosen combination of packaging and product is stable and safe.
