The bottle can be reused if basic hygiene rules are observed. Before each new filling, it is necessary to clean the container thoroughly and then disinfect it, for example using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol (products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol and Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based). As it is PET material, the use of high temperatures is not recommended; do not boil the container and do not wash it in a dishwasher to avoid its deformation.

After emptying, remove any residues of the original product, then rinse the bottle with lukewarm water and a suitable cleaning agent and rinse it thoroughly with clean water. After drying, we recommend disinfecting both the inner and outer surfaces with a suitable alcohol-based preparation (e.g. products available on Handymade) and allowing it to evaporate naturally. As this is PET, avoid high temperatures, hot steam, boiling and the dishwasher to prevent damage to the packaging.

If you decide not to use the bottle further, we recommend recycling it in accordance with the material designation stated in the product parameters on Handymade. First, empty the container as thoroughly as possible, if necessary rinse away any product residues, separate the closure and sort the individual parts into the appropriate collection containers according to the material. By following local recycling rules, you contribute to more considerate waste management and efficient sorting of plastics.

For products that are sensitive to heat, it is important to store them in stable conditions away from heat sources and direct sunlight. PET material is not intended to be exposed to high temperatures, so do not leave the bottle in an overheated environment and do not subject it to intensive heating. For sensitive formulations we recommend testing stability under real conditions of use and adjusting the method of storage so that the contents are as well protected as possible.

The choice of closure depends on the consistency and mode of use of your product. For liquid toners and waters, spray heads or classic screw caps are practical; for oil-based and concentrated solutions, droppers or applicators with controlled dosing are suitable.
