The plastic bottle – medicine bottle is a practical and lightweight container suitable for packaging various liquid and powdered preparations in cosmetics as well as in home production. Thanks to the durable plastic material, the container is ideal for everyday use, easy handling and safe dosing. The bottle is designed to withstand standard storage conditions well and to help maintain the stability and quality of the filled product.
This type of medicine bottle is extremely popular for clear and clean packaging of serums, solutions, tinctures or concentrated blends. The smooth surface of the container is easy to clean, allows trouble-free labelling and a professional presentation of the finished products. The practical shape of the bottle also makes storage easier both in smaller batches and in larger production runs.
This plastic bottle – medicine bottle is compatible with various types of closures and dosing methods, which you can choose according to the specific use. In combination with the appropriate components, it is possible to use, for example, screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators for precise dosing of the contents.
The combinations of containers and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the container in contact with the specific formulation), so that you can be sure that the chosen closure is suitable for your product in terms of stability and user comfort.
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
For plastic packaging made of PET it must be taken into account that they are not intended to be exposed to high temperatures. With long-term exposure to heat or contact with a hot liquid, deformation of the container and deterioration of its mechanical properties may occur. Such a container is therefore not suitable for cleaning in a dishwasher or for boiling. Gentle manual cleaning at appropriate temperatures and the use of suitable disinfectants according to the instructions are recommended.
Yes, the container can be used repeatedly if handled correctly and if hygiene rules are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable agent, for example isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % or plant-based ethanol Ethanol 96 % denatured. Always carry out disinfection according to the recommendations of the disinfectant manufacturer and allow the container to dry completely before filling it with a new product.
First empty the bottle and mechanically rinse it with a suitable cleaning solution at an appropriate water temperature. Then use a disinfectant, for example isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % or plant-based ethanol Ethanol 96 % denatured. Rinse the container with the disinfectant solution, allow the excess to drain off and leave the bottle to air-dry at room temperature. For PET material, avoid high temperatures, do not boil it and do not wash it in a dishwasher in order to prevent deformation of the container.
If you decide not to reuse the container, recycling it according to the type of plastic indicated in the product parameters is recommended. After emptying and basic rinsing, sort the container into the appropriate plastic recycling bin in accordance with local waste sorting rules. The recycling symbol and material type can be found in the parameter table for the product on the Handymade.sk website – based on this you will choose the correct method of sorting. In this way, you minimise waste and support the reuse of the material in the recycling process.
Plastic packaging made of PET material is not intended for long-term exposure to high temperatures or for filling with hot products. When overheated, the walls of the bottle may soften or deform and the sealing of the closure may deteriorate. It is recommended to fill only cooled or room-temperature formulations and to store them away from direct sources of heat or intense sunlight. This way, the container will retain its shape and functionality for longer.
The simplest way is to use the advanced filter in the relevant packaging category. After clicking on the category, a filtering option will appear at the top of the page, where you can narrow down the selection according to several parameters – especially according to neck type, size, colour and packaging material. Thanks to these filters, you will quickly find bottles, medicine bottles, jars or other containers that will match your formulation as well as the visual requirements of your brand.
The choice of closure depends on the nature of the product and the desired mode of application. For dropper serums or concentrated solutions, droppers or dropper inserts are often used; for toners and water-based solutions, spray pumps may be suitable, while for simple storage of solutions, standard screw caps are sufficient. We recommend testing in advance the compatibility of the selected closure with your formulation, particularly in terms of sealing, dosing and the stability of the material in contact with the product.
