Is this bottle suitable for products containing alcohol or essential oils?

The packaging can also be used for preparations containing alcohol or essential oils, but we always recommend performing your own compatibility test – fill a smaller amount of product and monitor the behaviour of the plastic, sealing and function of the spray pump over time. For formulations with a higher proportion of alcohol or strongly aromatic oils, it is important to verify that there is no expansion of the plastic, leakage of the contents or change in dosing.

How should I correctly clean and disinfect the packaging before repeated use?

The packaging can be reused provided basic hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, we recommend thoroughly rinsing the bottle and spray pump with a suitable cleaning agent, rinsing with potable water and then disinfecting. For disinfection it is appropriate to use, for example, isopropyl alcohol or ethanol – you can find them in our range as IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured plant-based. The disinfectant solution needs to be left in the packaging to act, sprayed through the spray mechanism and then all parts must be allowed to dry thoroughly.

Is it possible to use this medicine bottle repeatedly over the long term?
