Brown plastic bottle with ribbed cap represents a practical and safe packaging solution for various liquid and partially viscous formulations. Thanks to the plastic material used, the packaging is lightweight, easy to handle and suitable for everyday use in home production as well as in small-scale artisanal production of cosmetics or other products. The dark surface finish helps protect more sensitive contents from undesirable light exposure, which is an advantage especially for natural blends and extracts.
The packaging is designed to ensure convenient dispensing, minimise the risk of spillage and support practical storage of finished products. It is suitable primarily for liquid products where clean application, easy transport and longer-term preservation of content quality are important.
The standalone bottle is compatible with various types of caps and dispensing systems according to the parameters selected at purchase. It can be combined with screw caps, dropper inserts, pipettes, sprayers or practical applicators for precise liquid dosing.
Combinations of packaging and caps that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test – focusing on sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, alcohol content, oils, acids, etc.).
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
If you later decide not to use the packaging anymore, we recommend its gentle disposal via sorted collection according to the material type specified in the product parameters. You should follow local waste-sorting rules and the recycling symbol indicated on the packaging so that the material is correctly directed into the recycling stream.
The packaging can be reused if handled correctly and used gently. However, before each refilling it is essential to thoroughly clean and disinfect the bottle in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination and deterioration of the new fill. For disinfection we recommend using a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, available in our range as a cleaning agent for packaging. After cleaning and disinfection, allow the bottle and cap to dry completely and only then refill it again.
First, rinse the bottle mechanically with warm water and a suitable cleaning agent that is compatible with the material used and the type of previous fill. Then we recommend using an alcohol-based disinfectant, for example isopropyl alcohol or plant-based ethanol intended for cleaning packaging. Allow the disinfectant solution to act briefly, then pour out the remainder and let the packaging air-dry at room temperature. Before the next filling, make sure that the inner walls and the thread are dry and free from residues of cleaning agents.
Thanks to its low weight and practical cap, the packaging is also suitable for travelling and for carrying in a cosmetic bag or everyday handbag. When filling, however, we recommend leaving a slight headspace below the neck so that changes in pressure or temperature do not force the contents into the thread. Before placing it in luggage, always check that the cap is properly tightened and, for liquids with a higher alcohol content or very thin formulations, consider additional protection such as a resealable bag.
Store the bottle with the finished product at a stable room temperature, away from direct sunlight and sources of heat. Avoid exposure to extreme temperatures and prolonged humidity, which can negatively affect the label, the cap and the contents themselves. Always close the packaging properly to prevent evaporation of volatile components and possible ingress of contaminants. When storing several products of the same type, we recommend labelling the packaging with the filling date and the name of the formulation, which will make batch tracking easier.
If you decide not to use the packaging any further, we recommend placing it in sorted collection according to the material type specified in the product parameters and according to the recycling symbol on the packaging. Before handing it over for collection, it is advisable to remove residual contents and basically rinse the interior to facilitate the subsequent recycling process. The cap and bottle may be marked with different material symbols, so it is advisable, if necessary, to separate them and sort them individually according to local rules. In this way you support efficient use of raw materials and reduce the volume of municipal waste.
To select suitable packaging you can use the advanced filter located at the top of the page after clicking on a specific packaging material category. In the filter you can clearly select parameters such as neck type, size, colour and material, as well as other properties according to the given category. By combining these criteria, you can quickly narrow down the offer to the packaging options that best match the intended use, design and dosing method of your product.
