Plastic bottle made of high-quality PET material represents a lightweight and practical packaging suitable for cosmetic and technical formulations where reliable and safe storage of liquids is required. Thanks to the material used, the bottle is characterized by good shape stability, low weight and resistance during normal handling. The brown version also helps to reduce light penetration, which is advantageous for more sensitive formulations that require gentler storage.
This packaging is a suitable choice for manufacturers of natural cosmetics, small artisanal products and homemade mixed preparations, where the connection of practicality, aesthetics and functionality is important. Thanks to its compatibility with several types of closures, it is possible to adapt the application of the contents to the specific product type and the desired dosing method.
Bottles of this type are compatible with various types of closures and dosing (for example screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators) according to the parameters selected for the product. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always carrying out your own compatibility test – especially in terms of sealing, dosing and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation.
Warning regarding PET material: PET packaging should not be exposed to high temperatures, since excessive thermal load may lead to deformation of the shape. For this reason the bottle is not suitable for washing in a dishwasher or for boiling. When preparing the contents, we recommend filling the packaging only after the mixture has cooled down to an appropriate temperature.
All technical parameters of the packaging are stated in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The packaging can be used repeatedly provided that basic hygiene rules are observed and the material is not visibly damaged. Before each new filling it is necessary to clean the bottle thoroughly and then disinfect it with a suitable product, for example using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection you can use the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured vegetable. Only after the inner surface has completely dried is the packaging ready for a new filling.
PET material should not be exposed to high temperatures, therefore do not wash the bottle in a dishwasher and do not boil it. Hand washing with lukewarm water and a suitable cleaning agent, thorough rinsing and natural drying is recommended. Only afterwards is it appropriate to carry out disinfection with an alcohol-based product. When filling with hot or very warm mixtures, the packaging may deform, therefore the contents should always have an appropriate, rather lower temperature before filling.
If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend recycling it in accordance with local waste-sorting rules. According to the material designation in the product parameters, it is plastic packaging made of PET, which is usually placed in the container intended for plastics. Before handing it over for sorted collection, it is advisable to empty the bottle, possibly rinse out any remaining contents and separate any components made of another material (for example the closure), if required by the local recycling system.
