The plastic bottle with disc-top cap is a practical container for a wide range of liquid and lightly gel-like preparations where convenient dosing and clean application are important. Thanks to the combination of a durable plastic body and a functional closure, this packaging is suitable for cosmetic formulations, hygiene preparations and homemade blends that you need to keep safely closed and easy to use.
The disc-top cap allows precise dispensing of the contents without the need to open the bottle completely, helping to limit the product’s contact with the external environment. The packaging is designed to withstand everyday use, travel and carrying in a bag or suitcase without undesirable leakage when handled correctly.
This product is a complete combination of bottle and cap, ready for immediate use without the need for additional components. The combinations of containers and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation) to make sure that the packaging works reliably with your particular product.

Yes, the bottle can be used repeatedly when handled correctly. However, with every new filling it is necessary to follow basic hygiene principles – thoroughly clean the packaging before use and then disinfect it with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example with isopropyl alcohol or with denatured plant ethanol. Only after cleaning and drying the interior and the cap is the packaging ready for refilling.
After emptying the container, we recommend first rinsing the bottle and the cap with warm water and a mild cleansing agent, rinsing thoroughly with clean water and allowing them to dry. It is then advisable to disinfect the inner surfaces using alcohol – for example with the product IPA 99 % or ethanol 96 % denatured plant. After the alcohol has completely evaporated and the packaging has dried, you can refill the bottle.
Plastic containers of this type are not intended for filling with very hot mixtures. We recommend that prepared cosmetic products have normal room temperature before filling. Excessively high temperatures may adversely affect the shape or properties of the packaging as well as the stability of the formulation itself. If you are working with melted raw materials, always allow them to cool to a safe temperature before filling.
If you decide not to use the packaging any longer, we recommend sorting it according to the material stated in the product parameters. Before placing it in the respective recycling container, it is advisable to empty the bottle of any remaining contents and, if possible, lightly rinse it. The cap and the body of the packaging may be made of different materials, so it is ideal to follow the pictograms and the information in the product details and sort them according to the instructions of the local waste collection system. In this way you support efficient material recycling.
