The plastic bottle with dispenser represents a practical and hygienic packaging solution, particularly suitable for liquid cosmetic preparations and more viscous emulsions. Thanks to the integrated dosing system, it enables convenient and controlled application of the product without unnecessary waste or contamination of the surroundings. The reclosable system helps protect the contents from contact with air and impurities, which contributes to longer stability of the formulation and preservation of the desired quality.
Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation). Such a test will help you verify whether the selected packaging meets your requirements for application comfort, dosing consistency and long-term product stability.
All technical parameters of the packaging are specified in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters. When designing the final formula, we recommend carefully taking into account the material properties of both the bottle and the dispenser in order to ensure optimal compatibility with surfactants, oils, preservatives and other components.
Yes, the packaging can be reused if handled correctly and if hygiene principles are observed. Before each refilling, the bottle and dispenser must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, ideally using suitable disinfectants such as IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured, plant-based. This reduces the risk of microbial contamination and unwanted changes in the fragrance, colour or stability of your cosmetics.
The plastic packaging is not intended for long-term exposure to high temperatures. When exposed to excessive heat, there is a risk of deformation of the bottle and the dispenser, which may negatively affect sealing or the functionality of the pump. For these reasons, dishwashing or boiling is not suitable. Hand cleaning with lukewarm water and a mild detergent is recommended, and disinfection should preferably be carried out with an alcohol-based product according to the manufacturer’s recommendations.
Before reusing the packaging, it is important to remove all residues of the original product. First rinse the bottle and dispenser with water and a mild detergent, then rinse with clean water so that no surfactant residues remain. After drying, we recommend disinfecting the internal surfaces with alcohol, for example with the products IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured, plant-based. Allow the disinfectant to evaporate and only fill the packaging once it is completely dry.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, its environmentally friendly disposal in the form of recycling is recommended, in accordance with the material designation specified in the product parameters. Before placing it in the separated waste, empty the bottle and remove any remaining product as far as possible. Depending on the type of plastic, then dispose of it in the appropriate collection container for plastic packaging. Separating the bottle and dispenser (where possible) contributes to more efficient sorting and processing in the recycling process.
