The packaging can be used repeatedly if correct hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, it is important to dismantle the bottle, the dispenser and all parts, clean them thoroughly and then disinfect them with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after the alcohol has completely dried and evaporated is the packaging ready for the next filling.

For cleaning, we recommend dismantling the bottle and the dispenser into individual parts, rinsing them with warm (not boiling) water and a mild cleaning agent, then rinsing thoroughly with clean water and allowing them to dry freely. Before the next filling, it is advisable to disinfect the internal surfaces and the thread with alcohol (e.g. IPA or ethanol) and wait until the alcohol has completely evaporated. In order to protect the plastic material, it is not recommended to use aggressive cleaning agents or abrasive tools.

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it responsibly in accordance with the recommendation given in the parameter table for the product on Handymade.sk. Before disposal, it is advisable to remove any remaining contents, possibly rinse the bottle and sort the individual parts according to the material type (for example, the bottle body and the dispenser). You will find the specific recycling symbol and the recommended type of collection container in the product parameters, on the basis of which you assign the packaging to the appropriate separated waste stream.
