Plastic bottle with disc top cap represents a practical and hygienic packaging solution for a wide range of liquid and gel formulations. Thanks to its carefully designed construction, it allows comfortable dispensing of the contents without unnecessary contact with the product, which is especially ideal for cosmetics and body care. You can find the bottle volume, neck type and other technical data in the product parameters, which makes it easier to integrate the packaging into your existing line.
The disc top cap opens comfortably by pressing, which enables more precise and cleaner dispensing even in everyday use. The bottle is suitable for cosmetic and other liquid preparations where reliable protection of the contents, limiting air ingress and easy one‑hand operation are important – at home, in the salon and on the go.
This bottle is supplied directly with a practical disc top cap, which is optimized for dispensing liquid and semi‑liquid preparations. The combinations of packaging and caps created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), so that you can be sure your product will be stable in the long term and user‑friendly.
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters. Before introducing it into production or for larger series, we recommend carefully studying the technical data so that the packaging is appropriately selected in terms of viscosity, type of formulation and the required dispensing method.
The bottle can be reused if proper hygiene principles are observed and only for such types of products with which the material is long‑term compatible. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected – we recommend using, for example, isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % or plant‑based ethanol Ethanol 96 %. This minimises the risk of microbial contamination as well as unwanted changes in the fragrance or colour of the final product.
Before fitting the cap, we recommend checking that the bottle neck is clean and free from product residues. The cap must be tightened evenly so that it sits properly on the sealing surface, while at the same time not being over‑stressed. During the first filling always carry out a test – turn the bottle upside down, shake it gently and check whether any leakage occurs and whether the flow of the product through the disc top is comfortable for the given viscosity. For very thick preparations it may be advisable to choose a different type of dispensing.
To select suitable packaging, we recommend using the advanced filter, which you can find at the top of the page after clicking on a specific packaging material category (for example bottles, jars or dispensers). In the advanced filter you can combine several parameters at once – neck, size, colour and material. In this way you can easily narrow down the selection only to packaging that meets your technical and design requirements and more easily find matching packaging for a coherent product range.
After emptying, we recommend first rinsing the packaging with a suitable cleaning solution or with warm water and detergent (if, according to the product parameters, the material is compatible with such a procedure). Then rinse the bottle thoroughly with clean water and let it dry completely. Before refilling, it is necessary to disinfect the inner surface and the neck – for example using isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % or plant‑based ethanol Ethanol 96 %. Allow the disinfectant solution to act briefly, then let the packaging air‑dry at room temperature.
If you decide not to use the packaging any further, we recommend, after emptying and basic rinsing, to recycle it according to the type of material indicated in the parameter table at the product on the Handymade website. Follow the material symbol and abbreviation – separate the bottle and the cap before disposal so that each component can be correctly sorted into the appropriate collection container. In this way you support efficient processing of plastic waste and the re‑use of raw material in the recycling process.
