Can this plastic bottle be used repeatedly?

The bottle can be safely reused if the correct hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the packaging, rinsing it and then disinfecting it with a suitable alcohol-based product, for example isopropyl alcohol in cosmetic grade or plant-based ethanol. For this purpose, you can use products such as IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol 1 l or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based 1 l. After disinfection, allow the container and the cap to dry completely so that they are ready for new filling.

How should I properly clean the bottle before first use and when changing the contents?

Before first use and for repeated filling, we recommend disassembling the bottle and the flip-top cap into accessible parts, rinsing them with warm water and a mild detergent, rinsing thoroughly with clean water and then disinfecting them with a suitable alcohol. Products such as IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol 1 l or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based 1 l are suitable for disinfection. After treatment, allow all parts to air dry naturally in a clean place so that no impurities or moisture enter before filling.

Is this plastic bottle suitable for hot or freshly cooked products?

Plastic packaging of this type is intended primarily for filling products at room temperature or only slightly lukewarm. In general, it is not recommended to expose plastic containers to high temperatures, to pour hot or freshly cooked mixtures into them or to overheat them, because excessive thermal load can lead to deformation of the shape and reduced functionality of the cap. For formulations that require a higher temperature during manufacture, it is advisable to allow the product to cool down to a safe temperature before filling.

How can I dispose of or recycle this bottle in an environmentally friendly way if I no longer want to use it?

If you decide not to use the packaging any further, we recommend first emptying it completely and wiping off any remaining contents with paper or a textile. Then follow the information about the material given in the product parameters on the page – according to this it is necessary to place the bottle and the cap in the appropriate sorted waste stream (typically the plastics container, if a plastic material is specified in the parameters). Before discarding, it is advisable to remove as much residual product as possible so that the packaging can be effectively recycled.
