Before the first filling we recommend disassembling the packaging (bottle body and closure), mechanically cleaning it from any possible dust, and then thoroughly disinfecting it with a suitable alcohol solution. For this purpose you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After applying the disinfectant, let all parts dry completely at room temperature and only then proceed to filling, so that the structure and stability of your formula are not disrupted.

The packaging can be reused if hygiene principles are observed, especially in home production or when refilling the same type of product. Before each new filling, however, the bottle and closure must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, ideally using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 %. Make sure the inner surface is completely dry in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination and to maintain the quality of your product.

The disc-top closure is ideal for liquid and semi-liquid preparations that are applied in smaller amounts and where clean and controlled application is important. It is particularly suitable for body and facial milks, emulsions, shampoos, shower gels, massage and body oils, or facial cleansing products. It allows easy opening with one hand while minimising the risk of unintended leakage during normal use and transport.

We recommend storing filled bottles in a dry, clean and shaded place, away from direct sunlight and sources of heat. The stability of the contents is usually best at room temperature, or within the temperature range recommended for the specific formula. After each use, carefully close the closure to prevent drying out, contamination or deterioration of the product. For sensitive formulations it is advisable to keep a batch record and monitor changes in odour, colour or consistency during storage.

If you decide not to reuse the bottle and closure, we recommend that, after thoroughly emptying and basic cleaning of product residues, you place them in sorted waste collection according to the type of material specified in the product specifications. Correct sorting (e.g. into the plastics container) helps ensure subsequent recycling of the material and reduces the amount of waste. When disposing of the packaging, always follow local waste separation rules and the recommendations of the municipality or waste collection company.
