The oil dispenser is designed to work reliably with common cosmetic oils, serums and oil blends of medium viscosity. For very viscous oils we recommend making a trial filling and checking whether the flow and dosing are comfortable for your specific product. If necessary, the formula can be adjusted (for example by adding a suitable carrier oil) so that it can be dosed more easily.

The packaging can be used repeatedly as long as hygiene rules are strictly followed. Before each new filling, the bottle and the dosing element must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, ideally using a suitable alcohol, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after complete drying can you refill the packaging. When switching to a new formulation type (for example from another type of oil or from fragranced to unfragranced), we recommend having a dedicated packaging for each product to avoid influencing the scent or stability of the content.

Before repeated filling it is appropriate to rinse the bottle mechanically, remove residues of the original content and then disinfect it with a suitable alcohol, for example with the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After applying the alcohol, allow the packaging and the dosing element to drain well and dry completely. Such a procedure helps to minimise the microbial risk and at the same time protects the properties of the new filling. For plastic packaging, boiling or exposure to high temperatures is not recommended in order to avoid deformation.

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the type of plastic indicated in the parameter table for the product. First empty the content, optionally rinse the packaging basically so that no product residues remain in it. Then place it in the appropriate sorted waste collection corresponding to the material marking (you will find the recycling symbol in the parameter or directly on the packaging). It is advisable to separate the closure and the dosing part if they are made of a different material, so that the recycling process can be more efficient. By following these steps it is possible to minimise waste and reduce environmental burden.
