The plastic bottle with ribbed cap is a universal packaging solution suitable for both professional and artisanal filling of various liquid preparations. It is a practical solution for cosmetic, hygiene and technical formulations where cleanliness, secure closure and convenient handling during filling and dosing are important. Thanks to the material used, the bottle is lightweight, robust and suitable for packaging products intended for everyday use in households, salons and small‑scale production.
The packaging is designed to provide reliable protection of the contents against external influences, to minimise the risk of unintended leakage and at the same time to allow comfortable dosing during regular use. The sturdy construction together with the practical ribbed cap ensures a good grip, easy opening and repeated secure closing without the need for special tools.
The standalone bottle is designed to be compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems according to the parameters selected in the online shop. It can be combined with screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators, allowing you to adapt the final bottle precisely to the type of product and the desired mode of use.
The combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
Yes, the packaging can be used repeatedly if handled correctly and if hygiene principles are observed. However, before each new filling it is essential to thoroughly clean and disinfect both the bottle and the cap in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination or deterioration of the contents. For disinfection we recommend using a suitable alcohol‑based preparation, for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96% denatured vegetable. After applying the disinfectant, allow the inside of the packaging to air out thoroughly and dry before the next filling.
Plastic packaging in general is not intended to be exposed to high temperatures, especially not to long‑term exposure to hot water or steam. Boiling or washing in a dishwasher may lead to deformation of the bottle shape, weakening of the material or deterioration of the closure tightness. From both a hygiene and material point of view, gentle manual cleaning and disinfection with a suitable alcohol‑based preparation is therefore recommended, rather than high‑temperature sterilisation.
If you decide not to use the bottle or medicine bottle any further, we recommend, after emptying and basic rinsing, placing it in sorted waste according to the plastic type indicated in the parameter table for the product. By following this marking you ensure that the packaging ends up in the correct recycling stream and the material can be reused. In the case of residues of chemical or technical preparations it is advisable to follow local recommendations for handling hazardous residues and to rinse the packaging as thoroughly as possible before disposal.
This type of plastic bottle is ideal for low‑ to medium‑viscosity preparations that need to be poured or dosed in small quantities – for example toners, liquid cleansing products, light emulsions, serums, hair tonics or concentrates intended for dilution. For more viscous products (for example richer conditioners or gels) it is appropriate to consider combining the bottle with a suitable dispenser or choosing packaging specifically intended for highly viscous formulations. We always recommend testing the behaviour of the specific product in the packaging before filling a larger batch.
To quickly find suitable packaging, you can use the advanced filter available at the top of the page after clicking on the selected category (for example bottles, jars or sprayers). In the advanced filter you can clearly set parameters such as neck type, size, colour or packaging material and display only those options that meet your requirements. In this way you can easily select a bottle, medicine bottle or jar so that it is compatible with the planned closure as well as with the character of your product.
