With every refilling, it is necessary to thoroughly clean the bottle and the dispenser and to disinfect them. For disinfection of surfaces and internal parts, we recommend using isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, available in the Handymade range: IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol and Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. By following hygiene principles, you support the safety and stability of your cosmetic preparations.

Before re-use, we recommend first mechanically cleaning the bottle – thoroughly rinsing out residues of the original product and, depending on the nature of the formulation, using a suitable cleaning agent. Then allow the packaging to dry thoroughly. Finally, carry out disinfection of the inner walls and the dispensing mechanism using alcohol, for example the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After applying the disinfectant, allow the alcohol to evaporate and only then refill the container so that the consistency or fragrance of the finished product is not disrupted.
