The plastic bottle with disc-top closure is a practical and aesthetic packaging solution suitable for various liquid and semi-liquid formulations. Thanks to its thoughtfully designed construction and reliable sealing, it is ideal for dispensing products where controlled application and easy use are important. The packaging is designed to withstand normal usage conditions in the bathroom, household and professional facilities, while also allowing convenient transport and storage.
The combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The bottle can be reused if strict hygiene principles are observed and the packaging is handled appropriately. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example with IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or 96% plant-based ethanol. Packaging prepared in this way is suitable for new filling, and it is always important to verify the compatibility of your formulation with the material of both the bottle and the closure.
Before the next use, we recommend first rinsing the bottle thoroughly with a suitable soapy solution, then rinsing it with clean water and letting it drain. After mechanical cleaning, the internal surfaces and areas in contact with the product must be disinfected with an alcohol-based preparation, for example using isopropyl alcohol or denatured ethanol. Allow the disinfectant to act briefly and then let the bottle dry naturally at room temperature. This procedure helps to minimise the risk of microbial contamination of the new contents.
If you decide not to use the bottle any longer, we recommend first emptying it and removing any remaining contents as much as possible. Then follow the recycling pictograms and information given in the product parameters on the website, where you will find details about the type of plastic material. According to this, sort the packaging into the appropriate plastic container in your municipality. The disc-top closure should be sorted in the same way according to the material designation; if it is made of a different material than the bottle body, it is ideal to separate them before disposal. In this way, you support efficient recycling processes and reduce the amount of municipal waste.
For everyday use, we recommend storing the bottle in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and sources of heat. Do not expose the packaging to mechanical overloading, and when transporting it, make sure that the disc-top closure is firmly snapped shut. In the case of thicker or more aggressive formulations, it is advisable first to carry out a trial filling with a smaller amount and observe the behaviour of the material and the sealing of the closure. This will allow you to verify whether the selected combination of packaging and product is suitable for long-term use.
The simplest way to choose suitable packaging is to use the advanced filter in the packaging material categories. After clicking on the selected category, the option of detailed filtering will appear at the top of the page, where you can select packaging according to neck type, required size, colour and material. By combining these parameters, you can quickly narrow down the offer to only those packaging options that match your formulation and visual requirements. If you are not sure, we recommend starting with a smaller pack size and testing the compatibility of the packaging with your product in practice.
