The plastic bottle with disc-top closure is a practical packaging solution designed for convenient dispensing of liquid and lightly viscous preparations. Thanks to its shape, surface and high-quality workmanship, it is suitable for cosmetic formulations, hygiene solutions and homemade body care products, where clean and controlled extrusion of the contents without unnecessary waste is important.
The disc-top closure allows easy one-handed opening and closing, thereby increasing user comfort in everyday use. The closure system is designed so that, with proper handling, it helps minimize leakage of the contents and protect the product during storage and transport. The packaging is lightweight, durable and suitable for a wide range of liquid cosmetic preparations, which makes it a universal solution for artisanal as well as smaller professional production.
This bottle is designed as a standalone packaging component that, within the Handymade range, is compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems according to the selected parameters. They are compatible with different types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators), with specific combinations listed in related products and recommended variants for the given packaging.
Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test – verify the sealing, dosing method and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation (viscosity, alcohol content, oil or water base, etc.).
All technical parameters of the packaging are specified in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
The disc-top closure is ideal especially for liquid and lightly viscous preparations such as tonics, facial waters, light emulsions or liquid soaps. For thicker gels or cream emulsions, we always recommend performing trial filling and a practical dosing test to verify whether the product can be conveniently extruded without excessive pressure or clogging of the opening.
The packaging can be reused if basic hygiene rules are observed. Before each new filling, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the bottle and the closure and then disinfecting them with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. This reduces the risk of microbial contamination and of affecting the stability of your product by residues of the previous formulation.
After the contents have been used up, we recommend rinsing the bottle with warm water and a suitable detergent, allowing it to drain thoroughly and dry. Afterwards it is necessary to disinfect the inner and outer surfaces, including the thread and the closure, with an alcohol solution (e.g. IPA or ethanol) and again let it dry completely. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents that could damage the plastic surface, and do not expose the packaging to extreme temperatures to prevent deformation.
When choosing packaging, we recommend using the advanced filter, which you can find at the top of the page after clicking on a specific packaging category. In the advanced filter you can conveniently select parameters such as neck type, size, colour and packaging material. This way you will display only those bottles, vials, jars or other containers that meet your technical and design requirements.
If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend recycling it according to the material type specified in the product parameters. Before handing it over for separate collection, remove any product residues and, if necessary, separate the closure if it is made of a different type of plastic. Rinse the container, let it dry and place it in the appropriate plastic recycling bin according to local waste sorting rules. By following these steps, you will contribute to more efficient processing and reuse of raw materials.
