FAQ – Most frequently asked questions

Is it possible to use this plastic bottle with dispenser repeatedly?

Yes, the packaging can be used repeatedly with a suitable type of contents, but always only with strict adherence to hygiene principles. Before refilling, the bottle and the dispenser must be mechanically cleaned and subsequently disinfected with a suitable disinfectant, for example isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % or plant-based ethanol Ethanol 96 % denatured. Only after complete drying and airing can you refill the packaging.

How should I correctly clean and disinfect the bottle before refilling?

First we recommend rinsing the bottle and the dispenser with warm water and a mild cleansing agent to remove residues of the original product. Subsequently it is appropriate to apply disinfection – for example by rinsing or spraying using IPA 99 % or Ethanol 96 % denatured. After disinfection, let all parts of the packaging dry thoroughly at room temperature so that no residual moisture remains inside, which could affect the stability of the new product.

Is the plastic bottle with dispenser suitable for contact with hot or very warm products?

Plastic packaging of this type is not intended for filling with hot products or for exposure to high temperatures. In contact with excessive heat, there may be a reduction in shape stability, or deformation of the bottle, or damage to the dispensing mechanism. We recommend filling only cooled formulations at normal room temperature and not exposing the packaging to direct sunlight, radiators or other sources of heat. The packaging is not suitable for dishwashers or boiling.

How can I dispose of or recycle this bottle in an environmentally friendly way if I no longer want to use it?

If you decide not to use the packaging any longer, we recommend recycling it according to the material specified in the parameter table for the product. Before handing it over for separate collection, it is advisable to empty the bottle and remove any product residues. The container and the closure can then be placed in the appropriate container for sorted waste according to the material marking. In this way you support the reprocessing of raw materials and the reduction of the amount of waste. In the case of combined materials, follow the recommendations of the local waste collection system.
