FAQ – Frequently asked questions

Is this plastic small bottle suitable for repeated use?

The small bottle can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, it is necessary to clean the packaging thoroughly and then disinfect it with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example technical isopropyl alcohol or ethanol intended for disinfection. For this purpose, you can use the products IPA 99 % – isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After thorough drying, the bottle is ready for a new filling.

How should the plastic bottle be properly cleaned and disinfected before further use?

First, rinse the small bottle thoroughly with warm water and a suitable cleaning agent and remove all residues of the original filling. Then rinse it with clean water and let it drain. Afterwards, disinfect the inner surface with an alcohol solution, for example the products IPA 99 % – isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After disinfection, allow the packaging to dry freely at room temperature, and only then refill the small bottle.

What material is the small bottle made of and how can it be safely disposed of?

The specific type of plastic and the recycling mark can always be found in the product parameters and in the enclosed quality certificate. If you decide not to use the small bottle repeatedly, we recommend recycling it according to the type of material stated for the product. Before placing it in sorted waste, empty the small bottle, rinse it if necessary and remove any product residues. Then throw it into the appropriate container according to the recycling symbol given in the parameter table on the product page.

Is it appropriate to expose the plastic packaging to high temperatures or wash it in a dishwasher?

Plastic packaging of this type is not intended to be exposed to high temperatures. When in contact with hot water, steam or during boiling, deformation of the packaging and deterioration of its functional properties may occur. For these reasons, we do not recommend washing the small bottle in a dishwasher or sterilising it by boiling. For cleaning and disinfection, it is more suitable to use moderately warm water with a cleaning agent and then disinfection with alcohol.
