The plastic bottle with ribbed cap represents a practical solution for packaging modern cosmetic preparations and other liquid formulations. Thanks to the material used, the packaging is lightweight, resistant to normal mechanical stress, and suitable for everyday use in both home and professional production. The design of the bottle enables secure closure and reliable dispensing, which helps protect the consistency, fragrance, and stability of the filled product throughout the entire period of use.
The standalone plastic bottle is designed to be compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems according to the parameters selected in the online shop. It can be combined with screw caps, droppers, spray pumps or practical applicators, allowing you to adapt the packaging to the specific product type and the desired mode of use. The packaging and closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we recommend always carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing, and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the enclosed Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
For plastic packaging made from PET-type material, it is necessary to take into account the specifics of use: PET material should not be exposed to high temperatures, therefore contact with hot media and long-term exposure to a direct heat source are not recommended. If the recommended temperatures are exceeded, there is a risk of deformation of the packaging, which may affect the sealing and functionality of the cap. At the same time, the packaging is not suitable for washing in a dishwasher or for boiling, in order to avoid damage to the material and a reduction in its mechanical stability.
The packaging can be reused repeatedly provided that basic hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle and cap must be thoroughly cleaned, rinsed, and subsequently disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based product. For disinfection, we recommend using isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 (/ipa-99-isopropyl-alkohol-1-l/) or ethanol 96 % denatured (plant-based) (/etanol-96-denaturovany-rastlinny-1-l/). After applying the disinfectant, allow the packaging to dry thoroughly at room temperature. As this is PET material, boiling or dishwashing is not recommended, in order to avoid thermal damage or deformation of the bottle.
Plastic packaging made of PET material is not intended for filling with hot or freshly cooked products. High temperatures can cause softening and subsequent deformation of the packaging, which reduces its shape stability and may affect the sealing of the cap. Before filling, the product should be at room temperature or at the recommended processing temperature. If you formulate preparations that require heating of ingredients, it is recommended to first cool the finished product in the working container and only then pour it into the bottle.
If you decide not to use the bottle and cap further, we recommend recycling them in accordance with the information given in the parameter table for the specific product. According to the material indicated and the recycling symbol, empty the packaging, if necessary rinse out any product residues, and then sort it into the appropriate container for separated waste (typically the plastic container for PET packaging). The cap is often made from a different type of plastic, so it is advisable to check its recycling mark as well. By correct sorting, you support reprocessing of the material and a reduction in the amount of waste.
The plastic bottle is suitable for longer-term use with the same type of formulation, provided that the correct cleaning and storage method is maintained. It is recommended to use it with products for which you have already verified compatibility with this type of plastic (no excessive staining or weakening of the material occurs). With each change of contents, the packaging must be thoroughly washed and disinfected (for example using IPA 99 or ethanol 96 %), and must not be boiled or exposed to high temperatures. In the event of visible mechanical damage, significant deformation or impaired functionality of the cap, the packaging should be replaced with a new one.
To quickly find suitable packaging, you can use the advanced filter available at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant category (for example bottles, jars or dispensers). In the advanced filter you can clearly set the parameters according to your needs – specifically the neck type, the required size, colour and packaging material. Thanks to the combination of these filters, you can easily narrow the offer down to packaging that is suitable for your product and the planned method of use, which saves time for selection and testing.
