FAQ – Most frequently asked questions

Can this bottle be used repeatedly?

The packaging can be reused if basic hygiene rules are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle and the cap must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected, ideally using alcohol-based disinfectants such as isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection, you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol or Etanol 96 % denaturovany rastlinný. Only after the alcohol has completely dried and ventilated is the packaging ready for new filling.

How to properly clean and disinfect the packaging before new filling?

First, we recommend rinsing the bottle and the cap with a suitable cleaning agent or warm water with detergent to remove residues of the previous filling. Then let the packaging be thoroughly rinsed with clean water and dried. After drying, it is advisable to spray or rinse the internal surfaces with an alcohol-based disinfectant, for example with the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alkohol or Etanol 96 % denaturovany rastlinný. After disinfection, allow the alcohol to evaporate completely and only then refill the packaging.

How to safely dispose of or recycle this bottle if I do not want to continue using it?

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend that after emptying it you remove the remaining contents as much as possible and then recycle it according to the type of material given in the parameter table for the product. According to the material marking, place the packaging in the appropriate sorted waste stream (for example in the plastics container) in accordance with local sorting rules. The cap and the body of the packaging may be made of different materials, so we recommend checking the marking of both parts and, if necessary, sorting them separately.

What should be taken into account when storing and using this plastic bottle?

When storing, we recommend protecting the packaging from long-term exposure to direct sunlight and from extreme temperatures. If the packaging is made of PET-type plastic, it is not suitable to expose it to high temperatures, because excessive heating may cause deformation of the material. Such packaging is not intended for boiling or for washing in a dishwasher. When using with concentrated or very active substances, we recommend carrying out a trial filling to verify the behaviour of the material in contact with your specific formulation.
