Recycled plastic bottle 250 ml with pump is a practical packaging designed for convenient dispensing of various liquid and gel-based preparations. Thanks to the integrated dispensing mechanism, it is suitable for precise and hygienic application of products without unnecessary waste. This packaging is ideal for creators of homemade and artisan cosmetics, hygiene preparations or other formulations where cleanliness, safety and comfort in use are important.
The packaging can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed, however it is recommended to always carefully assess the condition of the material (wear, colour changes, deformations) and the functionality of the pump. Before each new filling, it is necessary to carefully clean and disinfect the packaging, including the dispensing mechanism. Products based on alcohol are suitable for disinfecting surfaces and internal parts, for example isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % or plant-based ethanol Ethanol 96 % denatured. For PET packaging it is not suitable to use high temperatures; do not boil the packaging and do not wash it in a dishwasher in order to avoid deformation.
Before the first filling, we recommend mechanically cleaning the packaging from dust, then rinsing it with a suitable solution and disinfecting it with an alcohol-based product that is compatible with the packaging material. A practical choice is the use of isopropyl alcohol or denatured ethanol in an appropriate amount, so that the surface is disinfected, not the packaging soaked for a long time. After disinfection, allow the bottle and the pump to ventilate thoroughly and dry at room temperature, without exposure to heat sources. Avoid using hot water, steam and a dishwasher, especially with PET material, in order not to impair the packaging.
The bottle with pump is suitable for a wide range of liquid and gel preparations, with functionality always depending on the specific viscosity and type of formulation. For thicker creams and gels, we recommend carrying out a trial filling in a smaller volume to verify whether the pump dispenses smoothly, without excessive resistance and air intake. If the product is too thick, it may be more appropriate to choose another type of dispensing or packaging. In the case of formulas containing solid particles, it is necessary to ensure that the particles do not clog the suction tube and the dispensing head.
Always store the filled packaging according to the recommendations for the specific product, typically in a dry, cooler and shaded place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. PET and other plastic materials are not intended to be exposed to high temperatures, therefore avoid keeping the packaging for a long time in a hot car, near radiators or in close proximity to heat-stressed appliances. During handling, avoid strong squeezing, drops and mechanical stress that may affect the tightness of the thread or the functionality of the pump. Always check whether the dispensing mechanism is locked after use, if its design allows it.
If you decide not to continue using the packaging, we recommend as a first step to empty it as much as possible and remove product residues. It is then advisable to separate the bottle itself from the pump, as the individual parts may be made from different plastics. When recycling, follow the material designation given in the product parameters and the local waste sorting rules. Typically, the plastic bottle belongs in the container intended for plastics, while more complex multi-component pumps may fall into mixed waste if it is not possible to sort them by material. Before handing over to sorted waste, do not boil the packaging or expose it to high temperatures; normal rinsing with lukewarm water is sufficient to remove residues of the contents.
For selecting suitable packaging, we recommend using the advanced filter, which you can find at the top of the page after opening the relevant packaging category. Using the filter, you can clearly choose the required parameters, such as the type and size of the neck, the overall size of the packaging, colour and material. In this way, you can easily narrow down the offer only to packaging that corresponds to your formulation and design intention. For specific projects, it is advisable to first order a smaller quantity to test compatibility and only then plan a larger purchase.
