The packaging can be used repeatedly if basic hygiene rules are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable agent, for example with isopropyl alcohol or ethanol of plant origin. After disinfection, allow the interior to dry completely and only then refill the bottle. During long-term and repeated use, monitor any signs of wear or damage to the packaging and replace it if necessary.

The PET material should not be exposed to high temperatures, therefore washing in a dishwasher or boiling is not recommended. At high temperatures there is a risk of deformation of the packaging and deterioration of its mechanical properties, which may affect sealing and safety of use. For cleaning, we recommend gentle hand washing in lukewarm water with a suitable cleaning agent, followed by thorough rinsing and final disinfection using alcohol-based disinfectants intended for packaging.

If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it responsibly according to the type of material specified in the product parameters. The bottle is made of PET material, which is normally sorted into the container intended for plastic waste. Before disposal, empty the packaging as much as possible, rinse out any product residues if necessary, and, if possible, separate the bottle from the closure so that the individual materials can be processed more efficiently. By following these steps, you contribute to a more efficient recycling process.

Recycled PET shows good resistance to many cosmetic formulations, however the behaviour of the packaging may depend on the specific alcohol concentration, the type and amount of essential oils and other active substances. We therefore recommend always performing your own compatibility test – filling a smaller amount of product, observing the packaging over time (change of shape, softening, discolouration) and verifying the reliability of sealing with the chosen type of closure or dispenser. For highly concentrated or unusual formulations, it may be appropriate to consider alternative materials as well.
