Thanks to the high-quality plastic material and the reliable spray mechanism, this packaging is ideal for home-made and artisan products, small brands and test batches of products.
This plastic bottle with spray pump is supplied as a functional unit – the transparent container together with the white spray pump form a practical combination for immediate use without the need to search for a compatible closure. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), so that you can be sure of optimal functionality for the particular product type.
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters. Warning regarding PET material: if in the parameters of this packaging it is stated that it is made of PET, the material should not be exposed to high temperatures. When in contact with hot water or heat treatment, there is a risk of bottle deformation. Such packaging is not suitable for washing in a dishwasher or for boiling. Gentle manual cleaning at lower temperatures and the use of suitable disinfectant solutions according to the instructions in the FAQ are recommended.
Yes, the packaging can be used repeatedly if handled correctly and hygiene rules are observed. Before each new filling, the bottle and the spray mechanism must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcoholic solution, for example using the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After thorough rinsing and drying, you can safely refill the bottle with the chosen formulation.
When cleaning the plastic bottle, avoid exposing it to high temperatures – do not use boiling water, do not boil it and do not wash it in a dishwasher. Gentle hand washing in lukewarm water with a suitable cleaning agent is recommended, followed by thorough rinsing and disinfection using an alcoholic solution. This approach minimizes the risk of deformation of the bottle walls and at the same time helps maintain the cleanliness of the packaging and the internal spray mechanism.
The spray pump is most suitable for aqueous and low-viscosity solutions where even distribution in the form of a fine mist is desired. These are mainly facial and body waters, refreshing sprays, hydrosols, hair mists, aromatherapeutic and interior sprays or disinfectant solutions for hands and surfaces. Thick emulsions, oils or gel-based preparations may reduce the functionality of the mechanism, so it is always advisable to test the behaviour of the specific formulation in the packaging in advance.
If you decide not to reuse the bottle with spray pump, it is recommended to recycle it in accordance with local waste management regulations. Follow the material designation indicated in the parameter table at the product on the Handymade website – based on this you will classify the packaging into the appropriate sorted waste (for example plastic packaging into the container intended for plastics). Before disposal, it is advisable to empty the packaging and, if required by the local sorting system, separate the spray pump from the bottle. In this way you support efficient material recycling and reduce the amount of mixed waste.
