The plastic bottle with disc top closure represents a practical and aesthetic solution for packaging liquid cosmetics and other preparations where convenient dispensing and clean application are important. The transparent body allows visual control of the contents and attractive presentation of the product, while the disc top cap with a gold finish and black center looks elegant and suitably complements both premium brands and small artisanal batches.
Thanks to the plastic material used, the bottle is lightweight, resistant to normal mechanical stress and suitable for a wide range of liquid formulations – from gentle facial products to thicker soaps and hair and body care. The design of the disc top closure supports controlled dosing without unnecessary waste of the contents and minimizes unwanted leakage when properly closed.
This bottle with disc top closure forms a functional and harmonized unit straight from production, suitable for direct filling and use. The packaging and closure combinations created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behavior of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation) to verify the behavior of your product under real storage and use conditions.
All technical parameters of the packaging are listed in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters.
For plastic packaging made of PET material, it is important to follow the recommendations regarding thermal load: the material should not be exposed to high temperatures, because there is a risk of deformation of the packaging. The packaging is not suitable for washing in a dishwasher or for boiling; if you plan repeated use, gentle manual cleaning and subsequent disinfection according to the recommendations below is advised.
If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend properly recycling it according to the type of plastic indicated in the product parameters. After thoroughly emptying and separating the plastic components (bottle, closure), place them in the appropriate container in accordance with local waste sorting rules and the recommendations resulting from the packaging material.
Yes, the packaging can be reused if handled appropriately and if the surface and closure are not damaged. However, for every new filling it is essential to follow hygienic principles – first rinse the bottle thoroughly, mechanically clean off residues of the original product and then disinfect it. For disinfection we recommend using technical alcohol, for example isopropyl alcohol or ethanol, which you will find in our range: IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol and Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. After thorough drying you can refill the packaging with a new batch of product.
First remove all residues of the original product by rinsing with lukewarm water and a suitable cleaning agent that is compatible with your formulation. Rinse the packaging mechanically to release residues on the walls and in the closure. Then rinse the bottle and cap well with clean water and let them drain. After drying, apply disinfection using alcohol (e.g. isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 %), let it act and then allow the packaging to dry completely at room temperature. Only then is the bottle ready for new filling.
The PET-type plastic material should not be exposed to high temperatures, therefore washing in a dishwasher or sterilization by boiling is not recommended. Prolonged exposure to elevated temperatures may lead to deformation of the packaging, deterioration of the closure seal and changes in the mechanical properties of the plastic. For cleaning and disinfection it is suitable to use lukewarm water, a mild cleaning agent and subsequent treatment with alcohol-based disinfection as recommended in the previous question.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it in accordance with the information given in the product parameters, where you will find the type of plastic used. Before disposal, empty the bottle as much as possible, wipe off any product residues with paper, separate the closure from the body and place the individual parts into the appropriate container according to local waste sorting rules (usually plastic). By recycling you reduce the amount of waste and contribute to more efficient use of raw materials.
For quick orientation in the range, we recommend using the advanced filter, which you will find at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging category (for example bottles, jars, pots). In the advanced filter you can narrow down your selection according to key parameters such as neck type and size, overall packaging size, colour and material. In this way you can easily find a bottle, pharmaceutical bottle or jar that meets the technological requirements and the visual style of your product.
