The plastic bottle with fine mist sprayer is a practical packaging intended for convenient application of various liquid preparations in the form of an even spray. The transparent design allows quick visual control of the contents and remaining amount, while the sprayer with elegant finish gives the final product a professional and aesthetic appearance, also suitable for representative packaging. This type of packaging is ideal for formulations where a fine, well-dosed mist without unnecessary product waste is important.
The bottle can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed, especially for homemade cosmetic production or auxiliary solutions. However, before each new filling it is necessary to clean and disinfect the packaging thoroughly – we recommend for example isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % or plant-based ethanol Ethanol 96 % denatured. After disinfection, let the bottle and the sprayer dry completely at room temperature. At the same time make sure that the packaging does not come into contact with excessive temperatures, since PET material is not intended for boiling or hot drying.
First rinse the bottle with a suitable detergent and cold to lukewarm water to remove residues of the original product. Then apply a disinfectant solution – for example diluted isopropyl alcohol or plant-based ethanol from the Handymade offer – and leave it to act briefly. We recommend disinfecting not only the container itself but also the dip tube and the spray head. Do not expose the PET material to hot water or steam sterilisation, because deformation may occur. After disinfection, let all parts air-dry at room temperature in a clean, dust-free place.
If you decide not to use the bottle and sprayer further, it is recommended to recycle them in accordance with local waste sorting rules and the information stated in the product parameters. PET material usually belongs in the container intended for plastic waste; before disposal it is advisable to empty the packaging, possibly rinse off product residues and separate individual parts if they are made of different materials. The recycling symbol and the recommended sorting method can be found in the parameter table at the product on the Handymade website. In this way you support the revaluation of the material in the recycling process.
The bottle with sprayer is ideal for watery to slightly viscous preparations that are to be applied in the form of a fine mist. In practice it is used mainly for facial and body toners, hydrolats, hair tonics, face refreshing mists, aromatic room sprays, fabric sprays or disinfectant solutions for hands and surfaces. For thicker emulsions or oil blends, spraying may be limited, therefore we recommend carrying out your own dosing test before filling a larger amount of product. Always also follow the compatibility of the specific formulation with PET material according to internal tests.
Since the packaging is made of PET plastic, its exposure to high temperatures is not recommended. Contact with hot water, steam or drying cycles in a dishwasher may lead to deformation of the bottle walls, deterioration of sealing or a change in the shape of the spraying part. Likewise, it is not suitable to boil the packaging or sterilise it at high temperatures. We recommend cleaning with cold to lukewarm water in combination with a suitable cleaning agent and subsequent disinfection with an alcohol-based preparation. In this way you will preserve the functionality and appearance of the packaging for as long as possible.
To orient yourself in the wide range of packaging, you can use the advanced filter available at the top of the page after clicking on the selected category (for example bottles, jars, sprayers). The advanced filter enables you to sort products according to key parameters such as neck type and size, overall packaging size, colour or material used. Thanks to this, you can quickly find packaging that will meet your product’s technical and visual requirements. For specific demands we recommend comparing several packages and checking their detailed parameters and recommended use.
