The plastic soap bottle with dispensing pump is a practical packaging designed for hygiene and cosmetic preparations with a liquid or gel consistency. The transparent bottle enables good visual control of the contents, while the black plastic pump ensures convenient and controlled dispensing during everyday use. Thanks to the high-quality material, this packaging is suitable for homemade formulations as well as smaller artisanal or semi-professional product series.
This product represents a combination of bottle and dispensing pump, which has been created on Handymade as a ready-made and functional solution for convenient use of liquid preparations. Combinations of packaging and closures that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), especially in the case of active ingredients, higher viscosity or atypical pH values.
All technical parameters of the packaging are stated in the attached Packaging Quality Certificate and in the product parameters. When planning a specific formulation, we recommend checking the data on the material, neck type and recommended use in order to ensure the optimal functionality and safety of the final product.
Yes, the packaging can be reused if handled correctly and if hygiene principles are observed. However, before each new filling, both the bottle and the pump must be thoroughly cleaned and rinsed in order to remove residues of the previous product. We then recommend disinfecting the packaging with a suitable alcohol, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured, plant-based, and allowing it to dry completely. This reduces the risk of microbial contamination during subsequent use.
It is advisable to place the plastic bottle with pump on a stable and dry surface where it will not be standing in water for long periods, in order to minimise the risk of soiling the bottom of the packaging or corrosion of any metal components in the vicinity. When filling, avoid overfilling above the recommended level so that the pump works reliably and does not leak when pressed. It is recommended to use formulations with a viscosity suitable for pump dosing so that the mechanism operates smoothly and the dose is consistent.
After the contents have been used up, it is advisable to disassemble the pump to the extent recommended by the manufacturer and rinse it with lukewarm water and a mild cleansing agent that does not leave a strong odour or film. It is then important to rinse it thoroughly with clean water so that no detergent residues remain in the mechanism. Before reuse, you can also flush the internal system with a small amount of disinfecting alcohol (e.g. IPA or ethanol) and allow it to dry completely. This supports smooth dosing and reduces the risk of clogging with more viscous formulations.
If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend emptying it and rinsing it as thoroughly as possible to remove product residues. The method of recycling must be adapted to the information on the material given in the product parameters – depending on the type of plastic, the packaging is assigned to the appropriate separate collection stream (usually the container for plastics). The pump often contains several material components, so, if possible, separate it from the bottle body. When handling the packaging, follow local waste sorting rules, which may determine whether the packaging is handed over as a whole or after being taken apart into individual components.
To select suitable packaging, we recommend using the extended filter in the packaging material categories. The extended filter is located at the top of the page after clicking on the selected category (for example bottles, jars, pharmaceutical bottles or pumps). There you can conveniently filter according to parameters such as neck type, size, colour and packaging material, which significantly narrows down the offer to solutions suitable only for your specific product. By combining several filters, you can easily find packaging that meets both the technical and aesthetic requirements of your formulation.
