Glass bottle – dropper vial with black ribbed cap with safety lock is a practical packaging material suitable especially for packaging precisely dosed liquid preparations. The combination of a durable glass container and a safety closure creates a reliable bottle for cosmetic, aromatherapeutic and laboratory formulations. The safety cap helps protect the contents from unintended opening and at the same time supports consistent and hygienic use of the product.
The glass bottle – dropper vial is commonly used for various types of liquid and oil-based preparations. For thicker or viscous formulations we recommend performing a trial filling in order to verify whether the selected type of closure or dropper allows smooth and comfortable dosing. In the case of very thick products, it may be appropriate to choose packaging with a pump or a wider neck from the relevant categories on Handymade.sk.
The packaging can be reused if hygiene principles are observed; however, we always recommend paying attention to thorough cleaning between individual fillings. Before each new filling, the bottle and closure must be cleaned, rinsed and subsequently disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example using the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after complete drying is the bottle ready for reuse.
If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend recycling it in accordance with local waste-sorting rules. The bottle itself is made of glass, so after emptying and basic rinsing, place it in the container intended for glass waste. The closure is made of plastic; it needs to be separated and disposed of according to the material designation given in the product parameters, usually in the appropriate container for plastic waste. Always follow the recycling symbols and the recommendations in the parameter table for the specific product on Handymade.sk.
When storing more sensitive formulations, we recommend keeping the bottles in a dry, clean place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Glass as a material is stable; however, it is important to protect the contents themselves from temperature fluctuations and contamination – therefore close the bottles tightly and after each use check whether the closure is properly tightened. For products with a higher content of volatile substances or alcohol, we recommend performing a longer-term stability test in the selected type of packaging.
