Glass bottle – medicine bottle with silver glossy dropper represents a professional solution for packaging liquid cosmetic preparations as well as concentrated blends where precise and controlled dosing is important. The combination of high-quality glass and a functional dropper enables hygienic application, minimizes the risk of contamination and supports the stability of more sensitive formulations during storage and use.
This type of packaging is ideal for products that are used in smaller doses – from facial serums and active ingredients to aromatherapeutic oils. The glass body of the bottle provides good chemical resistance and reduces interaction between the packaging and the contents, while the dropper allows convenient, spot and economical dosing without unnecessary product waste.
This glass bottle – medicine bottle is supplied in combination with a functional dropper designed for precise dosing of liquid preparations. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation), especially for formulations with a higher content of active ingredients or volatile components.

From a material point of view, the glass bottle is generally suitable for most cosmetic formulations containing essential oils, since glass shows good chemical resistance and does not react with common aromatic components in the same way as some plastics. Nevertheless, we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – fill a smaller amount of the product, monitor stability (colour, odour, precipitates) and verify whether the dropper doses smoothly and without clogging with the specific blend.
The packaging can be reused if hygienic principles are observed; however, we recommend always reserving it for one type of product or group of products (for example, only oil serums). Before each new filling, the bottle and the dropper must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcoholic preparation – for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured, plant-based. Only after the alcohol has completely dried and ventilated is the packaging ready for the next filling.
The dropper is designed for dropwise and spot dosing, which is ideal for concentrated serums and active ingredients. For first use, we recommend pressing the dropper several times without applying directly onto the skin, so that the pipette fills and an even flow is created. You can then dose directly onto the fingers or into the palm of the hand, or onto a precisely defined area of the skin. For more viscous oil formulations, it is advisable to work more slowly in order to obtain a stable number of drops and to prevent excessive release of the product.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it responsibly according to the type of material stated in the product parameters. The glass part of the bottle can, after emptying and basic cleaning of product residues, be placed in the appropriate glass container. The closure with dropper is a combination of several materials (e.g. plastic, rubber, possibly a metallic surface finish), so we do not recommend throwing it into the glass container – follow the instructions of the local waste sorting system and the general recommendations for mixed or plastic components. Before handing over the packaging for recycling, it is advisable to remove coarse product residues so that they do not affect the recycling process.
