Is it possible to use this glass roll-on bottle repeatedly?

Yes, the packaging can be used repeatedly if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, it is necessary to thoroughly clean the bottle, the roll-on insert and the closure, and then disinfect them with a suitable product, for example technical alcohol or isopropyl alcohol. For this purpose, you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after complete drying and evaporation of the alcohol is the packaging ready for a new filling.

For which types of products is this roll-on bottle most suitable?

The glass roll-on bottle is particularly suitable for products that are applied locally in a smaller amount – for example natural deodorants, facial and body oils, treatment serums, perfume oils or aromatherapeutic blends. It is also suitable for preparations intended for the care of the nail bed, lips or pulse points, where precise and hygienic dosing without direct contact of the contents with the hands is important.

How should I proceed when cleaning and disinfecting the bottle before a new filling?

First mechanically remove the residues of the original product, then rinse the bottle with a suitable washing agent and rinse well with water. After drying, the packaging must be disinfected, ideally using alcohol with a high alcohol content, in order to minimise the risk of microbial contamination. In practice, the use of the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based has proved particularly effective. After applying the disinfecting alcohol, allow all parts of the packaging to dry completely and only then refill the bottle.

How should I correctly recycle the glass roll-on bottle if I no longer want to use it?

The recycling method depends on the material composition of the individual parts of the packaging stated in the product parameters. The glass body of the bottle is usually placed in the container designated for glass, while the plastic or metal parts of the closure and the roll-on insert belong in the appropriate sorted waste according to the material stated. Before disposal, we recommend emptying the packaging and removing coarse residues of the product.
