The glass dropper bottle is a professional packaging solution suitable for precise dosing and safe storage of liquid preparations. Thanks to the high-quality dark glass, it helps protect sensitive components from light and contributes to longer stability of the contents. The integrated dropper enables accurate drop-by-drop dosing, which is ideal for concentrated formulas, active ingredients and aromatic blends.
This type of bottle is popular in the production of natural cosmetics as well as professional formulations, where dose control, hygienic use and a representative appearance of the packaging are important. The combination of a durable glass container and a functional closure with dropper forms a practical solution for home and artisan brands.
Glass bottles of this type are compatible with various types of closures and dosing systems (for example screw caps, droppers, sprayers or practical applicators) according to the selected parameters. Combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test – check the sealing, the dosing method and the behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation.

Yes, the glass dropper bottle is commonly used for packaging essential oils and aromatherapy blends, since glass is a stable material and in combination with a dropper it enables precise, drop-by-drop dosing. However, for highly concentrated formulations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test to verify the behaviour of the specific blend over time and to ensure optimal product stability.
The packaging can be reused, provided you follow basic hygiene principles. Before each new filling, we recommend thoroughly washing the bottle and closure, rinsing them and then disinfecting them with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, for example IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96% denatured, plant-based. After disinfection, allow all parts to dry completely in a clean, dust-free place. Only then is the packaging ready for new filling, ideally always with the same or a compatible type of product.
For even dosing, it is important to screw the closure with dropper on correctly and firmly so that the rubber part and the dropper insert seat well on the neck of the bottle. At first use, test the dosing with the selected formulation – more viscous oils drip more slowly, while thin, watery preparations drip faster. If you notice running down the neck, slightly adjust the tightening force of the closure and, during use, hold the bottle in a vertical position so that the drops exit through the central opening of the dropper.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it responsibly according to the material composition listed in the product parameters. The glass container should be emptied and rinsed of any remaining contents and then placed in the appropriate container for sorted waste intended for the given type of glass. The closure with dropper, which is composed of several materials, generally has to be disposed of in mixed waste, unless otherwise stated in the product parameters. By following the recycling recommendations, you support a more sustainable approach to packaging materials.
