For disinfection we recommend using high‑percentage alcohol, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured, plant‑based. Only then is it appropriate to fill the packaging again with a new product.
Before first use as well as when refilling, we recommend mechanically cleaning the dropper bottle (rinsing with a suitable cleaning agent or hot water depending on the type of your formulation), drying it thoroughly and then disinfecting the inside and neck of the container with high‑percentage alcohol. Only after the alcohol has completely evaporated is the dropper bottle ready for filling, which minimises the risk of microbial contamination.
