The glass medicine bottle with dosing cap is a reliable packaging for precise and hygienic dosing of liquid cosmetic preparations or concentrated solutions. Thanks to its compact design and high-quality closure, it is ideal for products where controlled application of a smaller amount is important. Glass is a stable and proven packaging material that is suitable for packaging more sensitive formulations and, with proper handling, also allows repeated use of the packaging.
Yes, the packaging can be used repeatedly with proper handling and adherence to hygiene principles. Before each new filling, the bottle and the cap must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, ideally using suitable disinfectants such as isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % or plant-derived ethanol Ethanol 96 %. Only after the packaging and components have completely dried is the bottle ready for repeated use.
First remove all residues of the original product with warm water and a suitable mild detergent. Then rinse the glass well with clean water and allow it to dry. Before the new filling, we recommend disinfecting the inner surface of the packaging, the neck and the dosing cap with alcohol (for example IPA 99 % or Ethanol 96 %) and letting it evaporate completely. This reduces the risk of microbial contamination of the new fill.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it according to the types of materials used, as stated in the product parameters. The glass part can generally be placed in the container designated for glass, while the plastic or composite parts of the closures belong in the appropriate separated waste according to their material composition. Before disposal, it is advisable to remove any remaining contents from the bottle in order to facilitate the recycling process and minimise the impact on the environment.
