The glass bottle with black-gold spray pump represents an elegant and functional packaging for liquid products that require gentle and even dosing in the form of a spray. Thanks to the high-quality glass and precise spray mechanism, it is suitable for carefully formulated cosmetic preparations, aromatic blends and DIY recipes, where control of consumption and comfort during application are important.
This type of packaging is designed to reliably protect the contents and at the same time allow convenient use in everyday practice – whether in professional production or in smaller artisan batches. The high-quality glass material helps minimize interactions between the packaging and the filled product and is suitable for longer-term storage of well-stabilized formulations.
This packaging is supplied directly as a combination of glass bottle and functional spray pump, so it is ready for immediate use after filling and closing. The combinations of packaging and closures created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend carrying out your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation) to verify long-term stability and trouble-free use under your specific conditions.

Before first use we recommend thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting the packaging in accordance with the hygiene rules of your production. After mechanically rinsing with a suitable cleaning agent, allow the bottle and spray pump to dry thoroughly and then disinfect them with an alcohol-based product, for example isopropyl alcohol (IPA 99 %) or plant ethanol (Ethanol 96 % denatured). Before filling, make sure that no residues of water or cleaning agents remain in the packaging that could affect the stability of your product.
The packaging can be reused if handled correctly and if it is not damaged. With each repeated filling, however, it is necessary to follow hygiene principles – the bottle and spray pump must be cleaned and disinfected before filling, ideally using alcohol-based disinfectant products such as IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant. We recommend repeated use only if you have the entire hygiene process under control and the packaging is not mechanically damaged or significantly worn.
Before starting larger-scale production, we recommend preparing a test sample and filling it into one or more bottles. Monitor the behaviour of the packaging and spray pump over time – focus on the sealing of the closure, the smoothness of dosing, any colour changes of the glass, metal or plastic parts, as well as the stability of the fragrance and consistency of the product. It is also appropriate to carry out a short-term stress test at different storage temperatures that are realistic for your product, to verify the long-term functionality of the combination of packaging and fill.
If you decide not to use the packaging further, we recommend classifying it for separated collection according to the material specified in the product parameters. The glass part of the bottle can generally be handed over to glass collection after removing product residues, while the spray pump and any plastic or metal components must be sorted according to local waste management rules. Always follow the material composition given in the parameter table for the product on Handymade.sk and local recommendations for recycling, in order to minimize environmental impact.
