The glass medicine bottle with a black ribbed safety cap is a reliable packaging solution suitable for precise and hygienic dispensing of liquid preparations. High-quality glass protects the contents from external influences and, in combination with the safety cap, helps minimize the risk of unintentional opening or product leakage during storage or transport.
This type of bottle is ideal for packaging serums, concentrates, tinctures and other products where stability, cleanliness and controlled use are important. Thanks to its sturdy construction and the high-quality sealing of the cap, the packaging is also suitable for longer-term storage of more sensitive formulations.
The standalone glass bottle is compatible with various types of closures and dispensing options depending on the selected parameters. It can be combined with screw caps, droppers, spray tops or practical applicators according to the desired method of product use. The packaging and closure combinations that are created directly on Handymade are tested and functional. However, for all combinations we always recommend performing your own compatibility test (sealing, dosing and behaviour of the packaging in contact with the specific formulation).

The glass medicine bottle is suitable for thin and medium-viscosity formulations such as serums, oils and tinctures. For very thick oils or gel textures, we recommend choosing a closure or dispensing component adapted to the viscosity (for example a wider dropper or another type of applicator), and always carrying out a trial filling to verify smooth dispensing and reliable sealing.
The packaging can be reused provided that strict hygiene principles are followed. Before each new filling, the bottle needs to be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable agent, for example with IPA 99% isopropyl alcohol or with 96% denatured plant ethanol. It is also recommended to replace the closure when changing the type of product in order to prevent cross-contamination and maintain the quality of the contents.
First remove the residues of the original product by mechanically rinsing with warm water and a suitable cleaning agent. Then rinse the packaging thoroughly with clean water, allow it to dry, and only afterwards disinfect it using alcohol (ALK001 / ALK002), that is either isopropyl alcohol or 96% ethanol. Before refilling, make sure that the packaging is completely dry and free from residues of cleaning agents or alcohol.
If you decide not to reuse the packaging, we recommend recycling it in accordance with local waste-sorting rules and with the information given for the product in the parameter table. The glass bottle can usually be placed in the container designated for glass after removing product residues. The closure is sorted according to the material stated in the product parameters – most often into the container for plastics or into mixed waste if local rules do not allow otherwise. Before recycling, it is advisable to rinse the packaging to minimize residues of the original contents.
