Can this glass bottle be reused?

Yes, the glass pharmaceutical bottle can be reused if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the container must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol, for example technical isopropyl alcohol IPA 99 % or a plant-based alcohol disinfectant ethanol 96 % denatured. This reduces the risk of microbial contamination and prevents the properties of the new batch of product from being affected by residues of the previous contents.

How should the glass pharmaceutical bottle be properly cleaned before further use?

Before reuse, we recommend first mechanically rinsing the bottle with a suitable cleaning solution or with warm water and detergent, then rinsing it thoroughly with clean water so that no residues of the cleaning agent remain. After drying, disinfection of the inner surface with an alcohol-based product is important, for example using IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based.
