The glass medicine bottle with a white surface and a black child-resistant cap is a professional packaging suitable for the safe filling of sensitive liquid preparations, cosmetic serums, medicinal solutions or concentrated blends. The opaque glass helps to minimize light penetration to the contents, which supports the stability of active ingredients and extends the usability of carefully formulated products. Thanks to the high-quality child-resistant cap, the bottle is suitable wherever reliable closure and controlled dosing are important in everyday use.
Yes, the bottle can be reused if hygiene principles are observed. Before each new filling, the packaging must be thoroughly cleaned and then disinfected with a suitable alcohol-based preparation, such as isopropyl alcohol or ethanol. For disinfection you can use the products IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based. Only after the inner surface has completely dried is the bottle ready for further safe use.
First, remove the residues of the original contents by rinsing with a suitable medium (for example warm water with a mild cleaning agent). Then rinse the bottle thoroughly with clean water so that no residues of the cleaner or foam remain. After mechanical cleaning, the disinfection step is important – use an alcohol-based preparation, for example IPA 99 % isopropyl alcohol or Ethanol 96 % denatured plant-based, with which you rinse the inside of the bottle. Allow it to drain thoroughly and dry at room temperature so that moisture does not accumulate inside.
If you decide not to use the packaging any further, it is recommended to recycle it according to the material type stated in the product parameters. After emptying the contents and carrying out a basic rinse, place the glass part in the appropriate glass collection container. The cap and any inserts are sorted separately according to the material specified in the product details (most often plastic). Before handing over to separate collection, it is advisable to remove label residues or at least reduce the amount of impurities so that the material can be efficiently processed in the recycling process.
Glass packaging is generally very suitable for formulations containing alcohol as well as essential oils, since glass is chemically stable and does not react with the contents. However, it is always important to carry out your own compatibility test: monitor the behaviour of the cap, the sealing and the dispensing components in contact with the specific blend, as well as during long-term storage. If you plan to use highly concentrated oils or very fluid solutions, it is recommended to first fill a smaller test quantity and verify the functionality of the system after a few days.
To make selection easier, you can use the extended filter, which you will find at the top of the page after clicking on the relevant packaging category. In the extended filter you can clearly set parameters such as the type and size of the neck, the overall size of the packaging, the colour or the material. This allows you to quickly select a bottle, medicine bottle or jar that will match your formulation as well as the visual requirements of your brand, without having to browse through dozens of products individually.
We recommend storing filled bottles in a dry, clean place without direct sunlight and away from sources of heat. A stable room temperature and limited access of moisture help to protect not only the contents themselves, but also the cap and sealing elements. For products with a higher content of volatile substances (for example essential oils or alcohol), it is important to always close the bottle carefully to minimise evaporation and unwanted changes in fragrance or consistency.
